Yoga For Pregnancy
Recommended by midwives, yoga during pregnancy is a gentle way to look after the body and mind. Combining safe stretching with the breath, pregnancy yoga will help to alleviate back pain, tired legs and tight shoulders. Adapting the poses safely, this class offers Mums-to-be a comfortable way to stretch out and release tension and anxiety. Each class finishes with a deep relaxation and visualisation, when you can either sit or lie in a supported side position, using bolsters, blankets and eye pillows. You can simply drift into a deep sense of rest – so important before the busy days ahead.
Wednesday mornings 10 – 11.30am
Wednesday evenings 7.30 – 9pm.
All mats, bolsters and eye pillows are provided for your use.
Sally Dunne is a qualified hatha yoga and pregnancy yoga teacher with Yoga Therapy Ireland. She is also a licensed acupuncturist and shiatsu practitioner, with a special interest in reproductive health and fertility.
